I do not know how to critique, but what I do know is that this cd is ‘THE BEST, FLAT OUT, END OF STORY” TOBY KEITH HISTORY MAKING CD EVER!!
Listening to music can be so much fun, uplifting, happy, sad, and even make you walk away forgetting about the day you just had! Listening to great music can be an escape from the madness of the world, a shot of reality, of mug of humor, even a chance for us to laugh at ourselves or be ashamed of ourselves.
I won’t waste your time or mine on the stuff those so called critics and experts write and print. But I will tell you that I see a winner in Toby’s new music! The music is funny, sad, hard core, rock ‘n roll, classic county and simply provocative. You will laugh “Get My Drink On”, cry “Love Me If You Can”, sing “High Maintenance Woman Don’t Want No Maintenance Man” and dance “PUMP JACK!!”
It’s the best music I have heard in a long time! I like it and I know you will too!!
HIT ME BIG DOG DADDY!! AND I’LL BE HITT’N YOU BACK!!
THANK YOU ….TOBY KEITH

Where do I start to even begin to comment and review such an incredible CD...Toby never ceases to amaze the people, the country crowd, the music industry and continues to bring in FANS by the 1000's. WTWM is but yet another stepping stone in the Oklahoma Country Cowboys career that is going to leave lasting footprints and impressions in peoples lives, with the type of songs and lyrics on this particular CD. WE wanted to hear ballads, we got BALLADS, we wanted to hear BUS SONGS, We got BUS SONGS, WE wanted true to life songs, WE we got those too...Toby has many AWESOME CD's out there, and he just continues to keep them coming, what more can FANS ask for from the BEST ENTERTAINER OUT THERE. The songs on the CD all speak to me in some way, shape or form, with life always taking so many different twists and turns, Toby just about covers them all on this CD, and I love songs that can TELL YOU A STORY with only a few lines....they are the ones that get in there and stick for along time.....
1. GD&BS ~ a song in a league of its own, its one heck of a party song and this will leave alot of empty seats in the house druing a show, as everyone will be on their feet during this one...Which is ALL GOOD !!
2. A Little Too Late ~ Now tell me "who here hasnt been either as the initiator or the receiver" through a situation like this? Toby puts it into words and makes it seem like "its nothing we cant get past".
3. Can't Buy You Money ~ Only DA MAN, Toby could take an everyday longtime, quote like "All the Money in the world cant buy you Happiness" and turn it around put a whole new SPIN on it and make it WORK for us. It comes so naturally.
4. CRASH HERE TONIGHT ~ A Ballad from the heart and soul, one that is constantly a part of everyday life for many of us, one that can reach deep inside and make you want to fall in love all over again or atleast give it one more try, and let em "Sing you one more love song". Truly a goosebump producing song WTG TOBY we asked and you delivered.
5. Grain of Salt ~ Dont we all take life with a "Grain of Salt" at some point or another as we walk on through it??? Toby expresses this "way of life" in a very REAL way.
6. I Aint Already There ~ I dont think this one needs a few words, these FOUR words say it all.....How many times have I thought or have you??
7. NOTE TO SELF ~ THE OLD DOG HOUSE, HELP ME OUT SONG....What a great song to remind us that we "Better NOT" or they will be "ALREADY GONE" Toby took simple life living, and turned it into a KNOCK OUT HIT !! Only He can do that the way he does so easily and remain "OUT OF THE DOG HOUSE". (no pun intended) :o)
8. Too Far This Time ~ I believe this song will touch everyone who hears it in a way to make them feel "they are not the only ones that have been in this position" it sheds light on what we have all dealt with at one time or another. Toby takes the truth and puts it in perspective to make us feel as if its ok to say "you've gone alittle to far this time". Something we all deal with in and out of personal relationships.
9. Aint No Right Way ~ Toby steps up the plate again here with another "true to life song" Truths others are never gonna say or sing about. When I first heard this song, TEARS streamed down my face, he SAYS what so many want to say but DONT..and turned it into a beautiful song with heartfelt meaning and the only way to ones heart is through TRUTHS. And Toby did that here. Have to say this is probably my FAVORITE at this time.
10, 11 and 12 ~ The Bus Songs, Brand New Bow, Hell No, and Runnin Block...Songs to make all the seriousness in life take a back seat for a bit..Its great to hear the "perks" of being on the bus, and to be a part of what Toby and his buddies do when they are not entertaining a crowd. Just being normal people singing about "SILLY, CRAZY, HILARIOUS" moments that have occured in someones life at some point. To put those experiences in song format is something I am sure they have a blast with after all the pressures of putting on a great show or making a new CD are overwith.
In overall, I always get alittle nervous when a new CD is coming out, but I have to say, this is BUT yet another WELL DONE ACCOMPLISHMENT. Toby just continues to OUT DO himself everytime, and I think the country and world will NOT be dissappointed with this one either. And the Pink Flamingo, well that was just the icing on the cake, and its a good thing I got more than ONE because I am wearing this CD OUT....THANK YOU TOBY, EASY MONEY, SCOTTY EMERICK, MANY OTHERS AND SHOWDOG FOR GIVING US ANOTHER "NUMBER ONE CD".

Since White Trash with Money is Toby's first CD from SHOWDOG Nashville, I didn't know what to expect! I'm very excited about this one! There's something for every fan on this CD! There are ballads, tender heart felt songs along with Toby's usual `spin' on phrases! He shows his sense of humor(as usual) but now has the true freedom he's always wanted to be able to be himself! Awesome job Toby!
GET DRUNK AND BE SOMEBODY
This is definitely a rockin' song! It speaks to hard working people that get little respect from their bosses!
A LITTLE TOO LATE
A perfect single! It's about time people hear this side of Toby! The average country radio listener that thinks they know Toby's music will be surprised when this hits radio!
CAN'T BUY YOU MONEY
Toby has a way of just knowing how the common people live! Outstanding song!
CRASH HERE TONIGHT
I love this song! It is the ballad that shows his tender side, which we've been wanting him to sing for a while now!
GRAIN OF SALT
Another great rockin' song with a funny twist! "I took your leaving with a grain of salt, tequila and a slice of lime" is classic Toby and Scotty Emerick collaboration! Love it!
I AIN'T ALREADY THERE
This song has a great beat! I think this is the typical "you can't live with `em and you can't live without `em" thing, with a masterful way of writing it that you haven't heard before. I love the line "light a candle, fill the tub, put on some music that you love, I'll bring the mojo".
NOTE TO SELF
A very catchy song that has a heartrending feel about it!
TOO FAR THIS TIME
Toby's vocal range is extraordinary in this song! The song totally knocked my socks off!
AIN'T NO RIGHT WAY
Great song about topics that are in today's society but not always discussed openly. Toby brings them to the forefront without being preachy!
BUS SONGS - Brand New Bow , Hell No and Runnin' Block
Great examples of Toby and Scotty's sense of humors! What can I say about these songs other than you just have to hear them!
Toby has out done himself with this CD! Excellent start for Show Dog Nashville! Toby wrote or co-wrote all the songs with Scotty Emerick and Dean Dillon! Co-producing with Lari White seems to have brought out a somewhat different sound, but still has the same attitude that we love from Toby! Toby's vocals always blow me away and make me wonder why he's overlooked in the male vocalist categories so often! This CD is definitely worth buying, but why stop with one copy!
Thank you Toby for this exceptional work of art!

A debut triumph for Toby Keith & his new Show Dog label,

White Trash With Money brings us yet another metamorphosis of the multi-faceted and very talented Toby Keith. We've seen & heard his alpha male side, we've seen his patriotic side, we've seen his bar and party side and now we're getting a glimpse of Toby as just a human - complex maybe, but still just a man. He doesn't leave behind his rowdiness as evident in songs like "Get Drunk and Be Somebody" and "Grain of Salt" (one of my personal favorites on this CD) but we also hear songs that are tenderer than one might expect from Toby. "Crash Here Tonight" shows an especially loving sentiment. Hearing that deep baritone voice open the song with "I almost said I love you; could I be that kind of guy..." sets the tone for a beautiful, heartfelt ballad.
The partnership between Toby Keith and his producer Lari White provides us with a new dimension to his artistry. She brought in some amazing orchestration with strings to this CD and it is fully evident in the tone of my very favorite cut, "A Little Too Late". Not only does the music evoke softness, but Toby's voice balances it so well you can feel his emotion ...unexpected from this country outlaw. Those same strings/fiddles bring in an old country feel to "Grain of Salt" in which we also see Toby's natural gift as wordsmith - "I took your leaving with a grain of salt...tequila and a slice of lime".
Of course, Toby's attitude still shows through on this CD...a few Bus Songs, which Toby defines as "not for public consumption", are included. Some of the humor will not be appreciated by all - and that's why they're not for public consumption! Collaborating with his longtime songwriting "compadre" Scotty Emerick, as well as the talented Dean Dillon, Toby offers the listener humorous, witty, warm and even some somber lyrics, as in "Ain't No Right Way"
Overall, this is a wonderful CD showcasing a true country artist. Toby doesn't have any aspirations to be a cross-over artist like too many other "country" performers today. He stays true to his roots but he plays with them to find new twists and he adds a little of his brash but thoughtful style. Toby Keith shows that he's the real deal on White Trash With Money. It will be wholly enjoyed by longtime fans and will create many new ones.

I received my CD last week through a pre-order sale with Toby's fan club. Trust me, if you enjoy his music, you will love this latest CD. Some of my favorites are "Get Drunk and Be Somebody" (a great concert song to get you on your feet); "Can't Buy You Money" (ain't that the truth?!); and "I Ain't Already There" (great story). Toby, Scotty and Dean write music that you can really relate to. Enjoy!
